The “Vivier aux Carpes” campsite is situated amidst peaceful, natural surroundings in the department of Aisne, Picardy.  This is an ideal location from which you can discover the many tourist attractions of the Picardy region.  The campsite is situated near the town of Saint-Quentin, between Calais and Paris; here you can relax near a fishing lake, just a few miles from the wine cellars of Champagne and the First World War battlefields.

Leisure activities and events

The region surrounding the Seraucourt-le-Grand campsite has a rich cultural heritage.  Saint-Quentin, a city of Art and History, abounds with place to visit, such as the Basilica and the Town Hall which is in the gothic style.  Farther afield, you will find an abundance of memorials to the First and Second World Wars: the First World War memorial at Péronne, the Museum of Resistance and Deportation in Picardy and the American cemetery of Bony.
