The Vivier aux Carpes Campsite is situated amidst peaceful, natural surroundings in the department of Aisne, Picardy. This is an ideal location from which you can discover the many tourist attractions of the Picardy region. The campsite is situated near the town of Saint-Quentin, just 2 hours from Calais, 90 minutes from Bruxelles and Paris; here you can relax near a fishing lake, just a few miles from the wine cellars of Champagne and the First World War battlefields.

Tourism

The region surrounding the Seraucourt-le-Grand campsite has a rich cultural heritage. Saint-Quentin, a city of Art and History, abounds with place to visit, such as the Basilica and the Town Hall which is in the gothic style.

Farther afield, you will find an abundance of memorials to the First and Second World Wars: the First World War memorial at Péronne, the Museum of Resistance and Deportation in Picardy and the American cemetery of Bony.

Our campsite is Somme Battlefields'partner and propose special rates for most of memorials site. We can organize for you a private visit, beginning at the campsite on Battlefield tours.  

At last, we are on Saint Jacques de Compostelle way and Via Francigéna, sot that, we received pilgrims all the year.
